Vfb Stuttgart: partnership with Japanese club V-Varen Nagasaki to train young players

VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) has signed a cooperation agreement with V-Varen Nagasaki (Meiji Yasuda J2 League) to train young players, announced the club on 11/04/2025. This is the club's first partnership with a Japanese club.

Under the agreement, which has the support of Kärcher, a partner of the German club since 2005 and also committed to its Japanese counterpart, young players from V-Varen Nagasaki will be regularly invited to train with VfB Stuttgart teams. Coaches from the Japanese club's youth teams will also be invited to Germany "to get to know the VfB team and experience the club's youth setup at first hand". Coaches from the German training centre will also take part in workshops organised in Nagasaki.

In addition to its sporting activities, VfB Stuttgart is involved in the "PR(L)AY FOR PEACE" project, through which "V-Varen Nagasaki is working with football clubs around the world to spread the message of peace."
