FIFA Club World Cup 2025: 2 English & 2 French central referees among the 35 selected

117 referees - 35 central referees, 58 assistant referees and 24 video match officials - from 41 national associations have been selected by the FIFA Referees Committee for the 2025 Club World Cup, to be held in 12 stadiums in 11 cities in the United States from 14/06 to 13/07/2025, announced the international federation on 14/04/2025.

Two French François Letexier (born 23/04/1989) and Clément Turpin (16/05/1982) and two English central referees Michael Oliver (20/02/1985) and Anthony Taylor (20/10/1978) are among the 11 selected at European level (which includes no Spaniards or Italians). Argentina and Brazil are the only other countries to have two representatives among the 35 central referees.

Four other English and three other French officials will be travelling to the United States:
• Gary Beswick, Stuart Burt, James Mainwaring, and Adam Nunn (ENG), assistant referees.
• Nicolas Danos and Benjamin Pages (FRA), assistant referees.
• Jérôme Brisard (FRA), video match official.
