RC Lens: Andreea Koenig, vice-president of the LFFP, appointed president of the women's section

Andreea Koenig, vice-president of the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel (LFFP) since its creation in July 2024, has been appointed president of RC Lens' women's team (Seconde Ligue), announced the club on 16/04/2025.

Andreea Koenig has been a member of the French club's board of directors since 2019 and has had an "increasing involvement in the women's team and the CSR area." RC Lens Féminin was created a year later, in July 2020.

"This season, we've stepped up a gear because the women's section is now fully integrated into the club's professional structure. Resources have been put in place to facilitate the work of the first team and this is reflected in the results, with Racing currently leading the Seconde Ligue. The aim now is to reach the Arkema Première Ligue and secure the club's place there for the coming seasons," added Koenig.
