The UK sports agency IMG has extended as the USTA's domestic and international media rights marketing partner for the US Open Grand Slam tournament as part of a new multi-year agreement, it announced on 16/04/2025.

"The USTA has been working with IMG since 2011 to power the growth of its international reach, fan engagement, and media rights revenues, and the 2024 US Open was watched by a record-breaking global audience of more than 175 million and broadcast in more than 200 territories across 60 channels," explained the agency, which notably represented the USTA in negotiating the tournament's new domestic TV rights agreement from the 2026 edition.

The American pay-TV and free-to-air group ESPN (owned by The Walt Disney Company) extended its exclusive rights to broadcast the US Open in its entirety in the United States for the 2026-2037 cycle (twelve editions), on 28/08/2024. ESPN is said to have extended the rights for a total of $2.04bn (€1.83bn as of 28/08/2024), or $170m a year (€152m), according to The Athletic.
