Bundesliga: Mewa (textiles) extends as title sponsor of FSV Mainz 05's stadium until 2031

Mewa, a German specialist textiles company, has extended as the title sponsor of FSV Mainz 05's (Bundesliga) stadium until 2031, announced the club on 19/04/2025. The 33,305-seat stadium will thus retain the name "Mewa Arena".

The group has held the naming rights to the stadium since 2021, under an agreement initially running until 2026 and valued at €2.3m per season. Mewa was also an official partner of the club over the 2013-2021 cycle.

"A few years ago, we decided to invest in our brand visibility and awareness. Sports sponsorship plays an important role in our strategy and our involvement with Mainz 05 is one of the most visible beacons of our brand communication in the German domestic market. We can also see this in the development of our key marketing figures. It is therefore only logical to continue on this successful path," said Michael Kümpfel, chief customer officer at Mewa.
