Spain: standardised total revenue of €5bn for LALIGA's 42 clubs in 2023-24 (+3.2%)

The "standardised total revenue" of the 42 clubs in LALIGA (the 20 clubs in LALIGA EA Sports & 22 in LALIGA Hypermotion) reached €5.049bn in 2023-24, up 3.2% on the previous financial year (€4.889bn), according to the Spanish Professional Football League, which presented its annual Economic and Financial Report for the 2023-24 season (available to download) on 22/04/2025.

While the 2022-23 financial year saw the clubs post total revenues of €5.7bn, including exceptional income linked to the LALIGA Impulso plan resulting from the agreement between LALIGA and CVC (compared with €5.124bn in 2023-24), this is their second-best financial year excluding exceptional revenue after 2019-20 (€5.065bn).

LALIGA attributes the increase in revenue to commercial revenue, which exceeded €1bn (€1.29bn) "for the second consecutive year, driven by new sponsorship and licensing strategies, as well as a growing international presence.
