LFP Media: Nicolas de Tavernost officially appointed CEO & will take up his post "shortly"

Nicolas de Tavernost has been officially appointed CEO of LFP Media and will take up his position within the Ligue de Football Professionnel's commercial company "shortly," announced the LFP on 23/04/2025.

The former chairman of the executive board at Groupe M6 had confirmed that he would take up this position to the French daily newspaper Le Monde on 09/04/2025, however, no official announcement had yet been made by the LFP. "Nicolas de Tavernost has unique experience in the audiovisual sector and in-depth knowledge of French professional football," said the LFP.

The executive, who has been acting CEO of RMC-BFM (formerly Altice Media, since July 2024), will replace Benjamin Morel, who left his position at the LFP in February 2025. He also remains vice-president of CMA Média (a subsidiary of CMA CGM, since May 2024) and vice-chairman of the board of GL Events (since April 2024).
