Puma: 90% of products manufactured in 2024 made from recycled or certified materials

9 out of 10 products manufactured by Puma in 2024 were made from recycled or certified materials, i.e. materials that emit fewer greenhouse gases, according to the German equipment manufacturer on the occasion of the publication of its annual sustainability report on 22/04/2025.

The group used "13% recycled cotton and about 75% of recycled polyester fabric" in the design of its products. "While recycled polyester is usually manufactured from plastic bottles, Puma has taken a leading role in the industry with its textile-to-textile recycling project RE:FIBRE, which uses industrial and post-consumer waste as the main source of raw materials," explained the brand.

As part of its "Vision 2030" plan, Puma has set itself the target of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 90% and cutting its supply chain emissions by 33% by 2030.
