Serie A Enilive: Tether (crypto) increases its stake in Juventus FC to 10%

Tether Investments, the investment arm of Tether (a stablecoin based on the US dollar), increased its stake in Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive) to 10.12% on 15/04, announced the company, which is headquartered in El Salvador, on 25/04/2025.

Tether, which now holds 6.18% of the theoretical voting rights in the club, had become a minority shareholder in Juventus on 14/02/2025 via the acquisition of 8.2% of the club's floating capital (and 6.18% of the voting rights). The holding company Exor NV remains the majority owner of Juventus, with 65.4%.

"The investment reflects Tether's long-term commitment to Juventus' future and its confidence in the club's intrinsic value and growth potential. It also signals the beginning of what is expected to be a deep and mutually beneficial partnership aimed at creating synergies between the worlds of sport and technology. As a further demonstration of its long-term commitment, Tether is also open to participating in any future equity injections to help strengthen Juventus' financial foundation and avoid dilution of its position," said the club.
