FIFA Women's World Cup 2027: call for tenders for TV rights in Asia & Europe (including France)

FIFA has launched several separate invitations to tender for the broadcasting rights to the Women's World Cup 2027 (to be held in Brazil) in "selected territories in Europe (including France) and Asia," announced the body on 24/04/2025.

"Entities wishing to participate in the tender process can request the ITT by e-mailing fwwc2027-media-rights@fifa.org," said FIFA. The deadline for the submission of bids is Tuesday 03/06/2025 at 12:00 CET.

In France, the Women's World Cup 2023 was broadcast by the private free-TV group M6 and the public broadcasting group France Télévisions. The two groups paid €3m each for the rights, for a total of €6m, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe. The two groups each broadcast 32 games exclusively on their channels (with the final on France Télévisions).
