LALIGA/TV production providers 2025-2030: "Premature assessment & unsubstantiated claims" (Mediapro)

"Grup Mediapro formally withdraws and fully retracts the content of its statement issued on 14/04/2025, concerning the awarding of production and distribution contracts for the Spanish football league championship. We acknowledge that the statement stemmed from a premature assessment of the tender process and included claims that were not substantiated," announced the Spanish audiovisual group on 25/04/2025.

LALIGA awarded the production and distribution contracts for LALIGA EA Sports and LALIGA Hypermotion for the 2025-2030 cycle, on 14/04/2025. Host Broadcast Services (a subsidiary of Swiss media rights and marketing agency Infront) was awarded lots 1 (operating media for LALIGA EA Sports), 2 (operating media for LALIGA Hypermotion) and 3 (main control room and centralised services), while Spanish operator Telefonica was awarded lot 4 (contribution and distribution).
