2024-25 Copa del Rey final: over 7.2 million viewers for Barça-Real on RTVE, a "record since 2014"

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) - Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports), the 2024-25 Copa del Rey final (3-2 after extra time), drew an average of 7.28 million viewers during normal time and 7.86 million during extra time on the Spanish public TV channel La 1 (RTVE) on Saturday 26/04/2025 (kick-off at 22:00 CET), according to the audience measurement institute Kantar.

These figures represented audience shares of 49.7% and 57.2% respectively. This is a record audience for the final of the competition in Spain since 2014, according to RTVE.

The match was also watched by an average of 500,000 viewers during normal time and 575,000 during extra time on the two Movistar Plus+ (Telefonica Group) channels that broadcast it, according to Kantar. Cumulative audience share: 3.4% in normal time and 4.2% in extra time.
