Asia: Midea (home appliances, CHN) partner of AFC club competitions until 2028-29

Midea, a Chinese company specialised in the manufacture of home appliances and air conditioners, has become a global partner of the Asian Football Confederation's club competitions from the end of the 2024-25 season until 2028-29, announced the AFC on 25/04/2025.

This multi-year agreement covers the AFC Champions League, the AFC Champions League 2 (2^nd continental division) as well as the Women's Champions League organised by the body. Under the terms of the partnership, Midea will have "exclusive rights" to promote its products in the competitions concerned.

"These AFC club competitions offer Midea an unique opportunity to reach a large global audience while also speaking directly to fans and consumers locally all across Asia and the Middle East," said the Asian Football Confederation. "AFC club competitions are among the fastest-growing events in the sporting world and we cannot wait to start working together with AFC," said Lewis Fu, president of Midea.
