CAF: Fouzi Lekjaa (MAR) among 5 elected vice-presidents & Yacine Idriss Diallo (CIV) ExCo member

Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), has been elected first vice-president of the Confederation of African Football, announced CAF on 26/04/2025 at the end of its executive committee meeting in Accra (Ghana). Lekjaa succeeds Senegal's Augustin Senghor, who decided to step down after failing to be elected as a CAF representative on the FIFA Council on 12/03/2025.

The four other members of the African body's executive body elected vice-presidents are:
• Kurt Okraku (Ghana): second vice-president of CAF;
• Pierre-Alain Mounguengui (Gabon): third vice-president;
• Bestine Kazadi Ditabala (Democratic Republic of Congo): fourth vice-president;
• Feizal Sidat (Mozambique): fifth vice-president.

In addition, Yacine Idriss Diallo, president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), "has been co-opted onto the CAF executive committee," said the body.

South Africa's Patrice Motsepe was re-elected by acclamation as president of CAF for a second four-year term (2025-2029) at the Confederation's 14^th extraordinary general assembly held in Cairo (Egypt) on 12/03/2025.
