Ligue 1: 2013-14 turnover up for the third consecutive year, Paris SG accumulated 31.7% of the total

The cumulative turnover, excluding player trading, of the 20 clubs in Ligue 1 was €1,497.7m at the end of the 2013-14 season, an increase of €200.4m, or 15.4%, compared to 2012-13 (€1,297.3m), according to the report "The Situation of Professional Football 2013-14" published by the French DNCG on 17/04/2015. This is the third consecutive year of increased turnover in Ligue 1 after 2012-13 (+14.2%) and 2011-12 (+9.2%).

9 of the 17 clubs that played in both the 2012-13 and 2013-14 Ligue 1 seasons saw their turnover (excluding player trading) move backwards, for a total of €86.5m, while the other 8 clubs realised increased turnover for a combined amount of €118m (including +€74.7m for Paris Saint-Germain and +€27.1m for Olympique de Marseille), for a cumulative growth in turnover of €31.5m for those 17 clubs in Ligue 1 in 2013-14 compared to 2012-13.

In particular, Ligue 1 benefited from the return to the top flight in 2013-14 of AS Monaco, which achieved a turnover €176.4m, the second highest total in the French first division behind Paris Saint-Germain (€474.2m).
