Everton FC: Dallas Mavericks (NBA) coach Jason Kidd joins the club's ownership group

American Jason Kidd, former NBA player and now coach of the Dallas Mavericks franchise, has joined Roundhouse Capital Holdings Limited, the entity through which The Friedkin Group (USA) has become the owner of Everton FC (Premier League), according to the club on 25/04/2025.

This announcement comes three days after American billionaire Christopher Sarofim, chairman of the management fund Fayez Sarofim & Co, also joined Roundhouse Capital Holdings Limited.

The sale of Everton to the American Friedkin Group was approved by the Premier League, Women's Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL), The Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority (UK market regulator), on 19/12/2024. The acquisition was led by Roundhouse Capital Holdings Limited, part of The Friedkin Group, which also owns AS Roma (Serie A Enilive) and AS Cannes (French 4^th division).
