Leeds United: Robbie Evans promoted to managing director following departure of CEO Angus Kinnear

Robbie Evans, chief strategy officer of Leeds United FC (Sky Bet Championship) since 2023, has been appointed managing director, according to the club, which was promoted to the Premier League for the 2025-26 season on 29/04/2025. The appointment follows the departure of CEO Angus Kinnear, announced on 07/03/2025.

"Robbie Evans previously he served as chief strategy officer at a 2000+ person publicly traded company and before that was a key contributor in new stadium development with the San Francisco 49ers (NFL)," said Leeds United, whose majority shareholder is 49ers Enterprises, the dedicated investment subsidiary of the San Francisco 49ers franchise.

Three other management changes have also been announced:
• Adam Underwood, academy manager, has been promoted to sporting director;
• Morrie Eisenberg, chief operating officer, has been appointed chief business officer;
• Fay Greer, finance director, has been appointed chief financial officer.
