Red Bull: creation of a €200m investment fund dedicated to tech, sporting & sustainable start-ups

Red Bull has launched "Red Bull Ventures", an investment fund, which will invest in technological, sporting and sustainable start-ups, according to the Austrian group specialised in energy drinks on the website dedicated to this venture capital fund to be deployed in April 2025.

Red Bull Ventures would be endowed with "at least €200m," according to specialist media outlet The German Eye on 16/04/2025. "Backing early-stage startups, Red Bull Ventures is providing strategic capital and entrepreneurial energy to transformative founders who are ready to challenge conventional limits and disrupt industries," said Red Bull.

The investments will focus on startups in different sectors:
• media, advertising and entertainment technologies;
• production and supply chain solutions (packaging, logistics, distribution, recycling);
• sport and performance (especially nutrition);
• digital and technological innovation (AI, automation, Web3);
• consumer engagement and retail technology;
• sustainability and environmental management.
