The lot for the free-to-air broadcasting rights to one game per LALIGA EA Sports matchday in Spain over the 2025-2027 cycle (two seasons) was not awarded at the end of the first marketing phase, according to the Spanish league on 29/04/2025. A second round of bidding has therefore been initiated by LALIGA, explained the league.

These rights are currently held by Mediapro over the 2022-2025 cycle. The group will broadcast the match on its free DTT channel Gol Play. The match may not involve Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, Club Atlético de Madrid or any club participating in a European Cup. The rights were acquired for "less than €14m" per season, according to Spanish media outlet 2Playbook.

Telefonica (owner of the Movistar TV package) and the OTT platform DAZN own the pay-TV rights to LALIGA EA Sports in Spain over the 2022-2027 cycle. They will each broadcast five games per matchday on 35 of the 38 matchdays, while three matchdays per season will be broadcast exclusively on Movistar. These rights were acquired for €4.95bn (an average of €990m per season) on 13/12/2021.
