Italy/FIGC: a turnover of €224m and operating profit of €2m in 2024

The FIGC Federal Council has unanimously adopted the 2024 budget, with a turnover of €224m (compared with €211.7m in 2023, +12.5%), "close to the €229.5m record set in 2021 after winning the Euro," and a positive operating result of €2m (€2.6m in 2023), announced the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio on 30/04/2025.

"Despite reduced contributions from Sport e Salute (the Italian public company for the development of sport), which have reached an all-time low, and in the face of a disappointing outcome at Euro 2024 (Italy was eliminated by Switzerland in the Round of 16) including from an economic standpoint, the FIGC managed to secure its 2024 budget, as shown, for example, by the over €4m in financial revenues or by the commercial activity that was able to promote the many projects developed, including in the social sustainability field," said the FIGC, at the helm of which Gabriele Gravina was re-elected until 2028 on 03/02/2025.
