With a turnover of €743m for the 2023-24 financial year, FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) have revenues (not including transfers) 86% higher than those of FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive, €399m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the second leg of their 2024-25 Champions League semi-final (3-3 in the first leg) on Tuesday 06/05/2025 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at the Stadio Giuseppe-Meazza in Milan (Italy).

By 2023-24, the Catalan club's wage bill had risen to €396m, 1.7 times that of their rivals, whose wage bill stood at €227m. At the end of that season, Barça had a net deficit of €91m, compared with a loss of €36m for Inter. Although Barça posted a recurring profit of €12m in 2023-24, this result was adversely affected by extraordinary transactions, including €141m in charges linked to defaults by certain investors in Bridgeburg Invest, the holding company of Barça Vision, the club's content platform which brings together all its Web3, NFT and metaverse initiatives.
