FIFA: Andrew Giuliani to head White House task force for the Club World Cup 2025 & 2026 World Cup

US politician Andrew Giuliani (Republican) has been appointed executive director of the White House Task Force - chaired by Donald Trump (President of the United States) - dedicated to overseeing security, logistics and other key areas of preparation for the Club World Cup 2025 and the 2026 World Cup, announced FIFA on 07/05/2025.

The announcement came at the end of the task force's first meeting at the White House in Washington DC, which was attended by Donald Trump, Gianni Infantino, JD Vance (Vice President of the United States), Kristi Noem (Secretary of Homeland Security) and Sean Duffy (Secretary of Transportation). Carlos Cordeiro, Senior Advisor to the FIFA president, has also been appointed as a senior advisor to the Task Force.
