Australia: Nine Entertainment to broadcast World Rugby competitions from 2025-2029

Australia's private media group Nine Entertainment has acquired the exclusive full broadcasting rights in Australia to World Rugby competitions for the 2025-2029 cycle, announced the body on 12/05/2025.

The competitions included in the agreement are: the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 (to be held in England), the Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 (to be held in Australia), the Women's Rugby World Cup 2029 (also to be held in Australia), editions of the U20 World Cup, the WXV, the HSBC SVNS (World Rugby 7s series) and the Pacific Nations Cup.
