FFF: Philippe Diallo announces a "commercial company with clubs as shareholders" & end of the LFP

'‘Moving from a system in which the Ligue de Football Professionnel, as an association under the 1901 law, would give way to a commercial company in which the clubs would be shareholders, with CVC Capital Partners owning 13% of the capital of this future company and the Federation itself having a stake in it" is one of the four “major changes” announced by Philippe Diallo, president of the Fédération Française de Football, as part of a major forthcoming reform for French professional football, on 12/05/2025.

The former chief executive of the UCPF and Marie Barsacq (French Minister for Sport, Youth and the Voluntary Sector) took the floor just over two months after the launch of the "Etats généraux du football français" (General meeting on French football) to deliver their conclusions.
