"The first indications of the LFFP's activity are very good: attendance up by around 50% in the Arkema Première Ligue in 2024-25, with several attendance records broken, and attendance almost doubled in the Seconde Ligue. The LFFP can create a dynamic that can benefit all of French football, whether as part of the professional Ligue 3 project or democratic governance, with the participation of all the clubs," said Jean-Michel Aulas, president of the Ligue de Football Féminin Professionnel, during an end-of-season review of the LFFP's first year of activity and its championships, as well as its development prospects, held at the FFF headquarters (Paris 15th arrondissement) on 13/05/2025.

"The Federation supported the LFFP with €9m when it was created (in the summer of 2024) and with €5m this year, for a total of €14m. We are committed to investing €70m over five years. The situation in the men's game has led to a threat of disinvestment in the women's game. The FFF's role is to set up a framework to open up the possibilities, with the 'boys/girls structure' scheme, but also openings…
