Eagle Football Group: revenues of €178.7m in Q3 of 2024-25 (-28%)

Eagle Football Group recorded revenues of €178.7m in the third quarter of 2024-25 (from 01/07/2024 to 31/03/2025), down 28% on the first nine months of the 2023-24 financial year (€248.8m), announced the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) on 15/05/2025. Excluding player trading, sales were down 20% at €121.5m (compared with €151.9m a year earlier).

While the group's results were positively impacted by participation in the Europa League in 2024-25 (+23% for ticketing revenue, to €31m, and +28% for TV rights and marketing revenue, to €38.1m), they were negatively impacted by "non-recurring items compared with March 2024". Brand revenues fell by 60% (to €17.9m) due to the receipt in N-1 of a "lump-sum royalty of €26.9m for the licensing (for an initial term of 50 years) of the Olympique Lyonnais brands to OL Féminin, in accordance with the agreements signed with Michele Kang on 08/022024", while "Events" revenues amounted to €11.9m, down 58% compared with 31/03/2024.
