FIFA Club World Cup 2025: ProSiebenSat.1 to broadcast Bayern & Dortmund free-to-air in Germany

ProSiebenSat.1 has sub-licensed the free-to-air broadcasting rights for FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund matches at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 from DAZN, announced the German broadcasting group on 15/05/2025.

The matches will be broadcast on the private free-TV channel Sat.1 as well as on the streaming platforms Joyn and Ran. Via these channels, ProSiebenSat.1 will broadcast one game per knockout round and the final even if neither of the German teams qualifies for the Round of 16.

All matches will continue to be broadcast free of charge on DAZN. The British platform acquired the global broadcasting rights for the competition from FIFA on 04/12/2024. DAZN obtained these rights for $1bn (€952m as of 04/12/2024), according to the Financial Times.
