LFP: special flocking in Ligue 1 as part of the International Day Against Homophobia

The Ligue de Football Professionnel and Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs will be taking action against homophobia on the 34^th and final matchday of the 2024-25 season (Saturday 17/05 at 21:00 CET) as part of the International Day Against Homophobia, announced the LFP on 16/05/2025.

"Following the example of the anti-racism campaign, all Ligue 1 players will wear specially designed shirts adorned with a distinctive badge bearing the words "Homophobie Football", with the word "homophobie" symbolically crossed out. As an extension of this initiative, the official competition badge will also be revisited: it will take on the colours of the rainbow, marking the collective commitment of the entire professional football ecosystem. "

This initiative will also be deployed in the stadiums in a number of ways:
• "To accompany the players, the message will also be displayed in all four corners of the stadiums;
• the Ligue 1 McDonald's competition symbol, present on the official arches, will exceptionally be replaced by the campaign's logo;
