Ligue 1 McDonald's/Ligue 2 BKT: footballs for the 2025-26 season presented by the LFP & Decathlon

The Ligue de Football Professionnel and the French group Decathlon presented the official Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 2 BKT footballs for the 2025-26 season on 16/05/2025.

"The two balls share a common base, both technically and visually, but are distinguished by their colours, in keeping with the new graphic universes of the competitions. The Ligue 1 McDonald's ball comes in pink and electric blue; the Ligue 2 BKT ball in turquoise and purple. The charcoal black, present on both models, creates a graphic continuity that is also traditionally found on the official Trophée des Champions ball," explained the LFP.

As part of the design of the balls, which also feature the words "Football à la française", the group based in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (Nord, FRA) has developed a new texture aimed at "retaining the precision of long shots and passes, while improving the feel and control of the ball," added the LFP. The balls are available from Decathlon stores (physical and online) at a price of €80.
