Ligue 2 BKT: a total of 2.3 million spectators & an average of 7,572 (-12%) per match in 2024-25

A total of 2.3 million spectators visited Ligue 2 BKT stadiums in 2024-25, announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 19/05/2025.

This figure, down sharply on 2023-24 (3.24 million cumulative spectators), can be explained by a switch from 20 to 18 clubs in Ligue 2 from the 2024-25 season - and therefore from 380 to 306 matches played - and to a "lower commercial capacity."

Among the other figures communicated by the LFP:
• an average of 7,572 spectators per match, down 12% on 2023-24 (8,645);
• a stadium fill rate of 59.9%, up 4.6% (55.3% in 2023-24);
• 37 matches drew more than 15,000 spectators.

"A number of clubs stood out with significant increases in attendance, driven by their sporting dynamics or effective commitment strategies: +150% for Paris FC, +46% for Rodez AF and +23% for Red Star FC."
