Women's football: OL Féminin becomes "OL Lyonnes" & will play all matches at Groupama Stadium

OL Féminin (Arkema Première Ligue) will change its logo and name to "OL Lyonnes" from the 2025-26 season, announced its American owner Michele Kang at a conference held at Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône) on 19/05/2025.

Michele Kang, who became a majority shareholder in the French women's club via her company YMK Holdings on 08/02/2024, also announced a number of other major changes:
• the staging of all the first team's home matches at Groupama Stadium (59,186 capacity);
• the planned construction of a performance centre dedicated to hosting all the women's teams in Meyzieu (close to Groupama Stadium);
• the construction of "Europe's first football museum" within this infrastructure.

British architects F3, "who have most recently worked on the Tottenham Hotspur men's and women's training facilities in England" have been chosen to build the performance centre for Lyon's women's team. Work is due to start in 2026, subject to approval of the project by the local authorities.
