CIES: France, the 2nd biggest exporter of players between 2020 & 2025, behind Brazil
With 2,293 expatriate players in the 135 professional leagues included in the sample, France is ranked second in the list of countries exporting football players between 2020 and 2025, behind Brazil (3,020 players) and ahead of Argentina (2,171), according to the CIES Football Observatory's "Monthly Report" published on 21/05/2025.
