Tennis: record prize money of €56.352m for Roland-Garros in 2025 (up 5.21% on 2024)

The prize money for the 2025 edition of the Roland-Garros Grand Slam tournament has reached a record €56.352m, up 5.21% on 2024 (€53.47m), according to figures from the Fédération Française de Tennis. The 124th edition of the tournament will be held at the Stade Roland-Garros (Paris, 16th arrondissement) from 19/05 to 08/06/2025.

"The prize money for the main singles draw has risen by 6.37% compared with 2024. The first three rounds of the final singles draw have once again received a substantial boost, with increases of between 6.33% and 6.85%. The tournament also wanted to reward all the other rounds with an increase of between 6 and 6.25% compared with 2024," said the FFT.

The winners of the men's and women's singles will each take home €2.55m, an amount 4% higher than the €2.4m allocated to each winner in 2024 (Poland's Iga Światek and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz), while €1.275m will be awarded to the finalists. The amount received by players eliminated in the first round of the singles competition has increased by 6.85% compared with 2024, to €78,000.
