AC Milan: Bee Taechaubol (THA) says he will be in Italy on 26/04/2015 to buy the club

Bee Taechaubol, a Thai businessman, confirmed in Bangkok (THA), on 19/04/2015, that he will be in Milan (ITA) on Sunday 26/04/2015 "to sign and complete" the purchase of a part of AC Milan (Serie A TIM).

Bee Taechaubol and the investors accompanying him (including the company Doyen Sports and entrepreneurs based in China, Singapore and Malaysia) will reportedly acquire 20% of the club, which is valued at €1.2bn, and will, within a year, increase their participation up to 65% (€780m value).

According to Silvio Berlusconi, the move was encouraged by the Chinese government

• Bee Taechaubol, 41 years old, the executive director of Thai Prime limited company, a private equity firm based in Singapore, had already met with Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of the club, in January and February 2015, and visited Casa Milan, the headquarters of AC Milan.
• The Berlusconi group should retain a minority stake in the club.
