The British bank Standard Chartered will continue as the shirt sponsor of Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League) until the end of the 2018-19 season, announced the club on 21/04/2015. Standard Chartered has been under contract with the club since 2010. The contract was due to expire at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The previous agreement was estimated at £20m (€27.8m) for the 2014-15 season. "The sponsorship of the Liverpool shirt is extremely prestigious and only five brands will have adorned the shirt in the 40 years since we created the sponsorship opportunity," said Billy Hogan, the chief commercial officer of the club, on 21/04/2015.

The club generated €124.1m of commercial revenue in 2013-14, according to figures from the Deloitte Football Money League, whose 2015 edition was published by the British office of the audit and consulting firm Deloitte on 22/01/2015. This represents 41% of the club's total revenue.
