Bundesliga: Telenet succeeds DAZN as exclusive broadcaster in Belgium for the 2025-2029 season

Belgian private broadcasting group Telenet has acquired the full and exclusive broadcasting rights in Belgium to the Bundesliga for four seasons over the 2025-2029 cycle, announced Bundesliga International on 22/05/2025.

The broadcasting rights to the German top flight had been held by pay-TV group Eleven Sports in Belgium since 2018. The competition had been available on DAZN since July 2023 after the OTT sports platform completed the acquisition of Eleven Sports Group and US sports media and entertainment company Team Whistle (acquired by Eleven on 29/03/2021) on 15/02/2023.

The deal also includes the broadcast of "key matches" from 2.Bundesliga. "The Bundesliga returns to Telenet, which has played a crucial role in bringing the best of German football to Belgian viewers.
