Armenia: Ruben Hayrapetyan has been re-elected for a fourth term as the president of the Federation

Ruben Hayrapetyan was unanimously re-elected as president of the FFA (Football Federation of Armenia), at the general meeting of the body in Yerevan (ARM) on 18/04/2015. Ruben Hayrapetyan, 52 years old, begins his fourth term as head of the FFA, of which he became president in 2002.

"Although many things are already done, we still need to work a lot for the development of football in Armenia. The development of youth football and football infrastructures are our main goals," said Ruben Hayrapetyan, after his re-election on 18/04/2015.

  • The budget of the Armenian federation amounted to €8m in 2014, "a figure that has increased by a factor of 10 in 13 years."
  • Armenia is 49th (out of 54) in the UEFA index as of 21/04/2015.
  • The national team of Armenia in fifth place (with 1 point) in Group I in qualification for Euro 2016, after four matchdays.
