La Liga: Athletic Club Bilbao hope to generate up to €8m with its new hospitality areas

Athletic Club Bilbao (Liga BBVA) presented their new hospitality areas and their prices for the 2015-16 season on 17/04/2015. The club opened their new stadium, the San Mamés Barria, for the second leg of their Champions League play-off match against SSC Napoli (3-1 on aggregate, 1-1 in the first leg) on 27/08/2014.

The 53,000-seat stadium offers 2,860 hospitality places made up of 508 seats in 44 boxes and 2,352 business seats. The VIP area includes 6,000m² located in the centre ring of San Mamés. "We have received many requests from businesses and individual customers," said Jon Berasategi, the director general of Athletic Club Bilbao, on 17/04/2015. The club hopes to generate up to €8m through to these new spaces.

Rates:

• Boxes of 8, 10 and 12 seats are priced from €32,000 to €75,600 (not including taxes) for the 2015-16 season.
• Business seats are available from €2,080 to €4,000 (not including taxes).
