Real Valladolid CF: agreement between Ronaldo (BRA) & an American group for the sale of the club

Former Brazilian international Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima, president and majority shareholder of Real Valladolid CF (relegated to the LALIGA Hypermotion in 2025-26), has reached an agreement to sell the club "North American investment group with backing from a European fund," announced the club that finished 20^th in the 2024-25 LALIGA EA Sports, on 23/05/2025.

"This transaction is subject to the administrative authorisation of the CSD, in accordance with current regulations," said the club, which Ronaldo has owned since 2018 via shares held directly and through his company Tara Sport.

"Further details on the new project that will mark this new stage will be communicated in the coming days," added the club, whose sale is estimated at €35m by the Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo.
