Bundesliga: Nike extends as equipment supplier of SC Freiburg for the 2025-26 season

Nike is to continue as official equipment supplier to SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) as part of a "long-term" agreement from the 2025-26 season, announced the club on 26/05/2025.

The American brand, which has been paying the German club an estimated annual fee of €1.2m over the 2021-2024 cycle, took over from Hummel, which supplied SC Freiburg's kit over the 2016-2021 cycle. The Danish equipment manufacturer itself replaced Nike, which had previously been involved with the club between 2009 and 2016.

"The implementation of activities and events" has been entrusted to 11Teamsports, the American brand's distributor in Germany and already involved in the agreement between Nike and SC Freiburg during the 2021-2024 cycle. The two partners will also be organising "promotional matchdays" at the Europa-Park Stadion (34,700 capacity).

Two Bundesliga clubs will also be changing equipment supplier from the 2025-26 season:
• adidas has replaced Nike at Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2025-2030 cycle;
