Ligue 1 McDonald's: Kappa to succeed Le Coq Sportif as OGC Nice's equipment supplier from 2025-26

Italian brand Kappa (BasicNet) is to become the official equipment supplier of OGC Nice (Ligue 1 McDonald's) as part of a "long-term" agreement from the 2025-26 season, announced the two parties on 28/05/2025.

As part of the deal, the Italian equipment supplier will support the Nice club "in the development of its brand and merchandising activity. With this partnership, OGC Nice will accelerate the deployment of its new brand platform, capitalising on the French Riviera with the ambition of becoming more and more one of its most attractive ambassadors," said the club, whose new range of merchandise will be marketed from 01/07/2025.

Kappa succeeds its French counterpart Le Coq Sportif, which has been OGC Nice's equipment supplier since the 2023-24 season and had no other clubs under contract in Ligue 1 in 2024-25.
