Toulouse FC: club president Damien Comolli to step down nearly five years after taking over

"Toulouse FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's) announces the departure of its president Damien Comolli after nearly five years at the helm of the club," said the French club on 28/05/2025. Damien Comolli had been president of TFC since it was bought by the American investment fund RedBird Capital Partners in July 2020.

"This decision, motivated by a personal desire to open a new professional chapter, comes at the end of a cycle marked by major sporting and structural advances. The club and its shareholders would like to pay tribute to the commitment and quality of the work accomplished throughout this mandate. The implementation of the next phase of governance has already begun," explained TFC.

"The club's shareholders and management are actively working to define a new organisation. Further details will be announced shortly," added Toulouse FC.

According to several Italian media and the French daily L'Équipe, Damien Comolli could be joining Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive).
