Football Benchmark 2025: a record valuation of €64.6bn for Europe's 32 major clubs

After rising by 14% (+€7.4bn) in 2024, the aggregate valuation of Europe's 32 leading football clubs has increased by a further 9.3% (+€5.5bn) to reach a new record level of €64.6bn in 2025 (compared with €59.1bn in 2024), according to the 10^th edition of "The European Elite" report published by Football Benchmark, a football-specific business intelligence platform belonging to the Hungarian consultancy Ace Advisory, on 29/05/2025.

Top of the report from 2016 to 2022 and in 2024, Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) remain in the lead in 2025, with a record valuation estimated at €6.278bn (+23%). The Spanish club is once again ahead of the same two Premier League clubs: Manchester City FC, 2^nd at €5.104bn (1^st in 2023), and Manchester United FC, at €5.051bn.

Of the 32 clubs studied, Aston Villa FC (19^th, €899m) was the club that recorded the best growth in relative value (+42%). Furthermore, as was the case in 2024, only four of the European Top 5 leagues have at least one representative among the 10 most valuable clubs.
