Aston Villa FC: Francesco Calvo (ex-Juventus FC) appointed president of business operations

Italian Francesco Calvo has been appointed president of business operations at Aston Villa FC (Premier League), announced the club on 02/06/2025. He will take up his post in July.

"Francesco joins the club from Juventus FC (Serie A Enilive), where he has been managing director of revenue and institutional relationships. In this role, he was responsible for all revenue streams and relationships with key institutional stakeholders in football, such as FIFA, UEFA, ECA and Serie A. Francesco has held several leadership roles over two spells with the Italian giants, as well as senior management positions at FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) and AS Roma (Serie A Enilive)," said the Birmingham club.

Francesco Calvo succeeds Chris Heck, who left the club at the end of the 2024-25 season.
