European Top 5: Como (+65%) & Barça (+40 million followers), best growth on social media in 2024-25

• The clubs in European Top 5 leagues registered 221 million new followers during the 2024-25 season, bringing their total number of followers to 2.96 billion on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X as of 02/06/2025.
• Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) is the club with the most followers at the end of the season with 419 million, ahead of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports, 367 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 217 million).
• Barça was the club that posted the best growth in its number of followers over the 2024-25 season, thanks to 40 million new followers, ahead of two other Spanish clubs: Real Madrid (+30 million) and Club Atlético de Madrid (+11.6 million).
• In relative terms, Como 1907 (Serie A Enilive) posted the best percentage growth (+65.5%) over the same period. The Italian club was ahead of Club Deportivo Leganés (+62%) and RC Strasbourg Alsace (+61%).
• 11 clubs have more than 100 million followers: six from the Premier League, two from LALIGA EA Sports, one from the Ligue 1 McDonald's, one from the Bundesliga and one from the Serie A Enilive.
