Toulouse FC: Neil Chugani (RedBird) appointed interim president after Damien Comolli's departure

Neil Chugani, managing director and operating partner at RedBird Capital Partners, the American fund that has owned Toulouse FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's) since July 2020, has been appointed interim president, announced the club on 04/06. Chugani replaces Damien Comolli, whose departure was announced on 28/05/2025.

This announcement came on the day that Toulouse FC appeared before the DNCG's Professional Clubs Control Committee, a meeting which Neil Chugani attended and at the end of which "no measures" were taken against the club. "In advance of the meeting, and as it has done before, RedBird Capital Partners provided Toulouse FC with additional capital to ensure its financial strength going into the 2025-26 season," said TFC.

As Neil Chugani has a "short-term appointment", Toulouse FC is already looking for his successor.
