Germany: Bayer 04 Leverkusen's pitch named best in the Bundesliga in 2024-25 (DFL)

Bayer 04 Leverkusen's pitch at the BayArena (Leverkusen, GER) has been named the best pitch in the Bundesliga for the 2024-25 season, announced the Deutsche Fußball Liga on 05/06/2025.

The pitch at Leverkusen's stadium (30,210 capacity) beat VfL Wolfsburg's Volkswagen Arena (30,000 capacity) and FC Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity). Bayer 04 Leverkusen thus win the 12^th edition of the "Pitch of the Year" trophy, first awarded by the DFL in the 2013-14 season.

The trophies were presented during the 17^th meeting of the groundsmen of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga clubs. Fortuna Düsseldorf also received the "Pitch of the Year" trophy for the best pitch in the German second division in 2024-25.
