Roland-Garros: record audiences for finals since 2011 (men's) & 2005 (women's) on France Télévisions

The men's final of the 2025 Roland-Garros Grand Slam tennis tournament, won by Spain's Carlos Alcaraz against Italy's Jannik Sinner (4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6), drew an average of 5.5 million viewers on the public TV channels France 2 and France 3 on Sunday 08/06/2025 (from 14:20 CET), according to data from the audience measurement Médiamétrie, released by France Télévisions.

This figure represents an audience share of 41.5%. This is the best audience for the men's final since 2011 (5.3 million viewers for Rafael Nadal - Roger Federer, audience share of 36%), according to the public broadcasting group, which added that a peak of 9.5 million was recorded during match point, for an audience share of 46.8%. This final was also the longest in the tournament's history (5 hours 29 minutes).

The match was broadcast at the same time as the match for third place in the 2024-25 Nations League between France and Germany (2-0), which drew an average of 3.4 million viewers on the private free-TV channel TF1 (kick-off at 15:00 CET). Audience share: 31.1% (Médiamétrie data).
