Roland-Garros 2025: a record 685,000 spectators over the three weeks, up 1.5% on 2024

The 2025 edition of the Roland-Garros Grand Slam tournament drew "685,000 people to the Stade Roland-Garros (Paris, 16th arrondissement) over the three weeks (from 19/05 to 08/06/2025)," announced Amélie Mauresmo, tournament director for the FFT, ahead of the men's final on 08/06/2025.

This is a new attendance record for the competition. This represents an increase of 1.5% on the attendance recorded in 2024 (675,080 spectators). "Our objective for several years has been to make the tournament more accessible to everyone. To this end, we have introduced Opening Week, which has enabled us to break attendance records," explained the tournament director.

In fact, this increase of almost 10,000 spectators in total is mainly due to the increase in the capacity deployed during the qualifying week, which has been increased from 75,000 seats in 2024 to 90,000 for 2025. The Opening Week thus welcomed "more than 80,000 spectators" from Monday 19 to Friday 23/05, a figure up 6.7% (+15,000 spectators) on the 2024 edition (75,000 spectators).
