Ligue 1 TV rights: "Price of the channel will be less than €20/month" (N. de Tavernost, LFP Media)

"You'll be able to access this channel via an application that allows you to watch it on a tablet, connected TV, etc. Then there will be distributors for this channel, like Orange, Free, Canal+ and beIN. We are in discussions with these distributors to find the best solution for consumers and clubs alike. The price will be less than €20 a month, and there will be a subscription for young people," said Nicolas de Tavernost, CEO of LFP Media, on RMC radio's "L'After Foot" programme on 10/06/2025.

LFP Media and DAZN announced that they had reached an agreement ending their dispute on 02/05/2025. Initially linked by a broadcasting contract for Ligue 1 for five seasons until 2029 (including an exit clause that can be activated at the earliest after two seasons), the parties have agreed to the early termination of this contract from the first year. The LFP now wishes to launch its own channel and is studying the various options open to it, particularly in terms of the content to be offered, production and distribution.
